Description
This is an old shot I took at Birket Siwa (Siwa salt lake) near the center of the Siwa Oasis in Egypt. The lake is very salty and salt covers the shore and everything that happen to reach into the water for a certain time. Here a palm tree has found its end because of the salt and the palm leaves have their salt cover near the water.
Taken in 2004 on film, with a Canon EOS 500 and an EF f/3.5-5.6 35–105 kit lens. Developed and digitized at a print shop, maybe Sooter's if I am right...
