Dear You,
You may know that we faced some difficulties that came from the Outer World (job, mostly) and the voting process and other deeds slowed down drastically. Also private life issues kept us back from the usual pace and this meant that many submissions that divided our admins ended up expiring. We hate when this happens, because we are deviants, too, and we feel it disgraceful when it happens to our submissions to other groups... therefore we tried to fight against this. The only solution is a new and active admin who has the spirit and knowledge and even the time and will for keeping the flow.
We are really proud because AlejandroCastillo accepted our invitation and not only joined our admin board but even started his work. You may already meet his kind comments and you may already observed that we sped up! Alejandro is a humble and great photographer from Argentina with good knowledge, keen eyes for nature's beauty, a firm style and stong devotion for his beautiful homeland. He also has the ability to make good and useful observations. Please take some time to visit his galleries for proof. Here are some random images from his wide variety of works:
We hope we will work together for a long time!

Features
It was long ago that we made the last feature and unfortunately I coulnd't go back all the way I should... Perhaps in a next journal I will, I definitely want to, because we had so many exceptional images from you! For this time, let's see some from the harvest of November
This is just a few selected image from the many marvellous pictures you've sent us. It is really worth the time to visit our gallery for more. Thank you for all members who submitted their works!
We admins weren't so diligent in November... You've already met Alejandro's work above, and here is one image by HoremWeb to you:
A motto for you:
Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn’t go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.

Eye for AI?
As my elderly mother needs more and more care and time, and my young puppy, my first ever dog companion grows (she's 16 month old now) I have less and less time for my personal photography. I could bring the camera along when walking the dog but she pulls and gets bored easily, and neither of my cameras are lightweight enough to master them single handed. (Especially not my VDS 8×10", but even the Yashica TLR or the Leica-size mamiya sekor 528TL wants both my hands to operate; so is my digital Canon. "The Beast", Mamiya RB67 is out of question of course, that is really heavy for a dog walk! :D ) Therefore I take pictures with my phone when I walk but somehow I never feel those pictures as real images even if they come out really good. Not to mention that most of the images are about my lovely little furry girl and the nature we experience. She teaches me some new aspects of nature and I fell in love with the parts I live, discovering its miracles I just ran by previously. So this led
Thoughts about Bill Biggart
Bill Biggart is dead. Today is the 20th anniversary of his death. He was one of the thousands who were killed by the collapsing skyscrapers. Bill Biggart shouldn't have been there, but he was a kind of news junkie. He worked as a press photographer in N.Y. and as soon as he learned about the first attack against WTC he hurried home for his cameras and headed to the site. All his high end EOS 1 cameras were found ripped open by the debris but he had one more camera, that worked without film. Yes, it was digital, one of the earliest DSLR-s that were something futuristic. The little and rudimentary but expensive EOS D30 was smashed, too, but its CF card was something promising. Biggart's widow gave it to his friend and colleague, Chip East who could rescue some images from the beaten card. Respecting Biggart's and Estate of Bill Biggart's rights I won't put any sample here but a link to the Estate's memorial page. Perhaps it is a due act of honor and respect for him and also for
Resonating Pixels
Unfortunately we hadn't enough time to do decent features since ages. Neither now—but I collected some of the images from 2018 and paired them to create something like talking pictures. As if they were talking to each other, to emphasize, expand, explain or reflect each other.
I intentionally left out DD awarded images (as far as I know) so I can state that these are not all the best photos. They are in the top but there are many comparable or sometimes even better pics in our 2018 gallery. Please yourself to discover the others, it is worth the time! And take your time to scroll all the way down, because I placed the bests of the best
