Your Guide to Paradise

Description

Okay, you had a four of aces, so what? The glass is empty, the candle is almost burnt... Will you understand your guide to Paradise?
The book is Dante Alighieri's Divina Commedia in a special edition. The Hungarian translation by Mihály Babits is admired as better than original masterpiece. The publisher was the once famed Révai, a leading publishing house in Hungary, primarily known for their high quality books and art support. The twin page opened are title pages of the third part, the Paradise. Note the finely cut art deco style typography with its avant guarde spacing that denies the rules of third, etc., and try to find new niché for art. The fine India paper reveals the graphics of the previous page—doesn't really help to read but very delicate at that time.
So, here is your guide to Paradise, and forget about your four aces and empty glass.
